Acupuncture treatments are typically 60 minutes. Treatments begin with pulse taking, tongue diagnosis, general body listening, observation of postural imbalance, and palpation. Following this assessment, needles are inserted and patients are left for 20-30 minutes to relax, meditate, or simply have a nap. After needles are removed the rest of the treatment includes any of the following modalities; massage, neural manipulation, craniosacral, visceral manipulation, cupping and gua sha.
